- Member of The World Federation of Chiropractic
- Trained by Dr Clayton Stitzel DC, former director of the CLEAR™ Institute
- Highly specialised in U.S. Scoliosis treatment
- Fellow of International Chiropractic Scoliosis Board
- The Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare
Precision Spine was the first fully CLEAR-equipped treatment centre in the region. In 2007, Dr Will trained with Dr Clayton Stitzel DC, the director of the CLEAR Institute, and his dedication drives him to return to the U.S. every year to continue his CLEAR education. He is uniquely qualified as one of the only chiropractors in South East Asia to be certified by the CLEAR™ Institute, a highly specialised US Scoliosis Treatment Centre. He has become a member of the CLEAR Advisory Board of Directors and is the first chiropractor outside the U.S. to receive CLEAR Intensive Care Treatment training.
The CLEAR philosophy aligns with Dr Will’s personal understanding of chiropractic, which has deepened to the point where he offers more than a series of spinal adjustments and manipulations. His mission is to provide his patients with relief while fixing the root cause of their problem. He also gives his patients the tools and knowledge they need to maintain their improvements once they leave his clinic.
- Personal Story
Dr Will was the youngest student ever accepted into the Scandinavian Chiropractic College Stockholm, Sweden, and spent 4 years under the tutorage of many globally-renowned chiropractic lecturers. In 1997, he became the youngest graduate from the college at the age of 21 and immediately began practicing as a chiropractor. He simultaneously earned his chiropractic licence from The Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare and became a member of the Chiropractic Association in Sweden.
In his on-going pursuit of chiropractic and neurological knowledge Dr Will completed further courses while working, learning about Rehabilitation of the Musculoskeletal System and Chiropractic Rehabilitation using the Bio-Psycho-Social approach for Chronic Pain Syndromes. He also spent time in Prague studying rehabilitation under a series of world famous doctors.
After 8 years practicing in Europe, Dr Will moved to South East Asia in 2005, allowing him the benefit of an international perspective. In 2006, he started his own practice, Precision Spine Chiropractic, which he still runs independently today.
Dr Will’s hunger for knowledge continues to drive him. He has contributed chiropractic-related articles in the PAR Golf and Golf Vacations magazines, and has appeared on Channel News Asia speaking on scoliosis and chiropractic treatments. In addition, much of his free time is spent poring over clinical research papers in his quest to gain deeper insights into the realms of chiropractic, orthopaedics and neuroscience theory and practice. His in-depth understanding of these topics ensures his treatment decisions are always based on scientific evidence rather than hearsay or the comfortable but misleading statement “it is usually done this way”.
His devotion to the chiropractic patient community also means he actively contributes to a number of blogs, forums, and will answer your questions personally if you email him directly. Alternatively, you can call the clinic to arrange a consultation.
Dr. Will Kalla is happily married with two young daughters, and relaxes by dividing his time between family-oriented activities and his two other passions in life, off-road cycling and long distance running. He also spends much of his spare time developing treatment programmes and core training exercises to boost peak performance in marathon runners, triathletes and cyclists.
"The intense passion and commitment I have to my patients’ long-term welfare started during my childhood, as a result of a painful experience I shared with my elder sister and family. At 10 years old, my sister started experiencing headaches that escalated into excruciating migraines, causing her to spend days at a time in bed. Her situation worsened until she was unable to speak, and my family spent most of their time in hospitals consulting numerous doctors and neurosurgeons.’
‘She was only 7 years old at that time, and I remember watching helplessly as my sister went through countless inconclusive tests. Doctors and surgeons suspected a brain tumour but the results were negative – no one had any answers. This left my family anxious and frustrated, especially when the doctors decided sedation was the best solution for my sister’s pain. Following a 3-month ordeal in the hospital, the doctors gave up and sent her home.’
‘Then a family friend suggested they consult a chiropractor. With no knowledge of chiropractic, but having nothing to lose, we booked an appointment. My sister began a series of treatments, and after 3 months my sister was pain and symptom free, able to resume her life as a happy, carefree child. She continued a series of rehab sessions and remains pain-free to this day, never once having a recurrence of her childhood migraines.’
‘This incident and how it changed my sister’s life moved me deeply. I vowed that I never wanted anyone to suffer what my sister went through if I could help it, and saw this as my calling. I spent much of my childhood reading and learning about the body, developing a sound understanding of human physiology, even before I went to the Scandinavian Chiropractic College Stockholm, Sweden.’
‘Please contact us if you think you or someone you love could benefit from our treatment."
